Vera has been passionate about health and wellness for over two decades. She believes that true wellness comes from a wholistic approach encompassing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual realms and that all areas of one’s life are interconnected. Vera is a Certified Life Coach through International Coach Academy whose mission is to help women shine their light more brightly.
There was a time in her life where Vera lacked clarity about her life purpose, she didn’t feel that she was making a meaningful contribution, and was also going through two major life changes (a divorce and loss of a job). Hiring a coach was one of the best things she did to help move through her self-doubt and gain a newfound sense of purpose and meaning in her life. Fast forward a decade, and Vera is now a coach with a passion in helping women find clarity around what is important to them, connect with their purpose, and create strategies for living a fulfilling life.
Vera hosts a podcast, ‘Practical Wisdom from a Life Coach’, which can be found on all podcast platforms and her other passions include leadership, personal development, physical activity, wellness, yoga, and supporting local businesses. Vera’s personal development journey brought her to yoga, meditation, mindfulness and eventually life coaching – she became a certified life coach in 2016 and today her mission is to help women shine their light more brightly.
In addition to Life Coaching, Vera is also a Yoga teacher here at Maliya. Vera first experienced Yoga Nidra a few years ago and was immediately drawn to this ancient meditative, restorative, and healing practice. When the opportunity came up for a teacher training, she jumped at the chance. She is excited to share this wonderfully beneficial form of yoga with other women, especially in a group setting where support, love, and energy is created.
Yoga Nidra aligns beautifully with Vera’s coaching process, allowing her to help women calm their nervous system so that they can hear their inner wisdom. Her classes incorporate journaling to provide time for quiet reflection in a safe and peaceful space. She looks forward to welcoming you to her class.
